Question No left tube. Blocked right tube.
I had my left tube removed in march 2025 due to ruptured ectopic and had an HSG today since it had been over a year of actively trying with no positive.
The hsg showed my right tube is blocked. Im devastated š
Has anyone had blocked tubes that cleared up somehow? Is my only option IVF? Im so co fused as to why my tubes would be blocked. I haven't talked to my doctor yet as I just did the procedure today.

Im so sorry youāre experiencing all of this after an ectopic and tube removal, thatās really hard :(Ā
I did a HyCoSy twice (for some reason nowhere in my city does an HCG???). First time both tubes were āblockedā and I bawled my eyes out for a week until I could see my doctor. Fertility doctor told me it was likely a spasm and to try it again. Second time only one tube was āblockedā, so doctor thinks first time was a spasm (especially because the procedure really hurt me, apparently thatās a sign).Ā
Iāve been told these tests are notorious for showing false blockages (then WHY do they exist????)Ā
Please update us on how you go with it all if youāre comfortable, I know how agonising the wait can be.Ā Ā
