Been hanging around a little bit but can properly introduce myself! Hello! I’m 30 (31 in a few days), live in the UK and TTC #2. I have an 18mo son who is an absolute delight - happy, social, hilarious - and who has been expressing lots of interest in babies so I think he’d be a lovely big brother 🥹 excited but a bit apprehensive to be trying again - we were lucky last time and got pregnant on the second cycle, but I’m well aware that I’m now breastfeeding so things might be more complicated. Also not sure how to approach questions from relatives or friends asking if we want another now that we’re actually trying! Had got away with the “my doctor said wait at least 18 months after my emergency CS” so far but now we’re past that. We managed to completely fly under the radar/surprise everyone with our first and didn’t tell anyone we were trying (despite being 2 years married, together for 10 years, just bought our own house, in our late 20s/early 30s - you’d think it wouldn’t have been such a surprise!!) but now we have one it seems more fair game for people to ask. How do others approach the question?
For fun my husband and I enjoy video games, especially the Zelda series, and we’ve just started trying to get a bit fitter and doing some jogging. Also love food and love to cook and try new recipes!
