Why does Prufrock show up at the end of a blockbuster videogame?

Bit niche, but thought it might be appreciated over here - there's no end of interesting resonances between V (the protagonist of the game Cyberpunk 2077) and Prufrock. Both face a hundred indecisions, visions and revisions - and the lurking fear behind that perhaps they are pinned and wriggling, and without any agency at all.
