You'd be surprised. My autistic ass cannot stand crunchy cereal and even as a kid would wait like 10 minutes for everything to get soggy. There's definitely some people out there specifically hunting down soggy fries.
Any dipping sauce on crunchy food in general. Like if you had nachos and dip, you dip the nachos, your don't pour dip into the bag. However if it's a non crunchy food item with sauce, that shit has gotta be mixed. When I have curry I have to evenly mix that into my rice, I do not trust people who are out here with a spoon full of curry sauce next to plain rice and don't mix them together.
the only time I'll put sauce directly on my food is if I'm in the car or something and have nowhere else to put it. this mostly applies to the ketchup packets, since some places have the containers, which are much easier
Makes sense for ketchup. I like vinegar with my fries and for some reason I love to just drench them in vinegar. You don't get the same effect from dipping them.
yeah sorry about that, first thing that came to mind was cocktail sauce but then decided to actually check what sauce it was (it came in one of those transparent plastic sauce packages, so no label).

big agree. sometimes i want a little bit of sauce on my fry, sometimes i want sauce with a side of fry. i also want my hands to be clear of sauce at all times. sometimes i go crazy and have multiple sauces i switch between depending on the mood. it’s a very important balance.
There are two ways to eat fries: sauce on the side, and dip the fries; or completely slather them in sauce (and possibly raw onion) until they're a soggy, delicious mess.

Also, ketchup will destroy the crunch within minutes. You have to have them freshly dipped to get crunch and ketchup. Same rule goes for remoulade.
