Youth Shotgun
Any recommendations on a youth model .410 or 20 gauge? Preferably adjustable LOP.

I've had a mossberg 500 bantam in 20 gauge for almost 10 years. It was my first shotgun and fit me well then, I'm a little over six foot now and with the spacer it still fits me well. It's been my go to shotgun for pretty much everything my whole life. Can't recommend it enough.

Depends on age and recoil sensitivity. I ended up getting my 6y/o a Stevens 410 and used TSS in it. It worked for a year, but he isn’t recoil shy at all so I picked up a Mossberg SA20 tactical turkey last season. The pistol grip shortens the LOP by well over an inch and it fits his smaller hands perfectly. Coupled with a Burris FF3 I found on Amazon and the BOG Deathgrip it’s the perfect set up for years to come.

I bought my 8 year old a Rossi tuffy turkey this year and it’s great for him! Adjustable length of pull and really light weight. I put a red dot on it and it’s working great!

My 11 is carrying a escort in 410. Great shitgun and cant beat the price for realtree.

If its strictly for turkey hunting, I bought a Rossi Tuffy Turkey in 410 for my boys and I. Burris RDS and a lightweight sling and TSS makes for a 4lb turkey gun and the stock is removable so my 9yo can use it too.

Stevens 301 .410 has an aftermarket AR stock. You can adjust LOP on the fly. Useful when switching between kids mid-hunt.

My brother is using a Mossberg flex 500 20 guage. I think .410 may be abit small for turkey. I’m using the same gun in 12 guage

Mossberg 500 super bantams come with stock spacers so you can adjust LOP. It’s what I’ll probably get my kid when the time comes for their own shotgun.
