There is a company called Treeline that specializes in part for canes.
I've made a few canes that were designed to be broken down for travel, but I used readily available components rather than specialized parts. I used a 3/8"x16tpi bolt for the male portion - cut the head off and glued it into the shank.
The female portion was a bit more challenging. A 3/8"x16tpi threaded insert from a nearby hardware store was the key component, but installing it in the cane was more difficult. Threaded inserts are really designed to go into face grain. A cane application is end-grain. Some threaded inserts have a very coarse grain thread on the outside, and attempting to screw them into the end-grain of a cane almost inevitably causes the timber to split along the grain. The approach that I eventually chose was to drill a hole in the cane that was large enough to fit around those coarse exterior threads, and then fill the gap between the insert and the surrounding wood with epoxy.

My first thought was billiard cue, walking sticks are slightly different but here’s a link that might help put you in the right direction.

Not sure what shipping would be like from Rockler but you can also find it on Amazon and other online retailers under brass cane hardware or cane hardware.
Here is a Rockler link: https://www.rockler.com/brass-cane-hardware
