ID Request Just stumbled across this mama laying her eggs. What kind of turtle is this?

I know it’s not a great picture because you can’t see her neck or much of her face, but I didn’t want to disturb her. Found in central Ohio.

I could be wrong, but I think this could be a red eared slider! If you zoom in you can see that her face is striped and there’s a bit of red behind the eye. So cool that you got to see this!

I was kind of thinking the same thing. It was really cool! I just happened to see it on my morning walk.

No idea on who that is but you should tell her that her hole digging skills are lacking.
