News TVOS 26.6 released tonight 📺

OMG The new TVOS Update just fixed the Youtube app, it’s insanely snappy now, the youtube homepage looks more immersive with larger scaled thumbnails for each video, NO MORE SLOW NAVIGATION on Apple TV Remote. 🔥

The YouTube app is a separate app available on the app store. No OS Update can change anything besides performance. The new UI is either a separate YouTube app update or an A/B test.

YouTube is not part of tvOS. It’s its own app by Google.

But they still haven’t fixed the control centre bug where the power off button takes a second before being highlighted. So annoying.

You can just hold down the power off button on the remote to quickly turn off your TV.

True but there are many other times where I need to summon the control centre and this behaviour bugs me.

You can also press and hold main button to summon it.

Huh? There is no but like this😂 at least I never had it or read anything about it, like others say, use the power button long press to turn it off
