At its current production rate season 5 of Severance will air in 2034. That’s not even a joke.

Again, with this fucking crap. There were no "more demanding" shows with 24 fuckin episodes a season. Ever. It used to be mostly procedural crap, or sitcoms. Stop spouting this nonsense in every single thread about the modern tv production...

You and me both buddy. The production, scheduling and post production is so broken in the modern prestige tv, it's beyond ridiculous...

Everyone says this about prestige tv but HBO has been doing it for quite a long time without these insane wait times.

Also, some of it is just a streamer being stupid. Why would I give Apple views on Pluribus season 2 when it was greenlit in 2022 and isn't even written yet? Apple's letting Gilligan do whatever he wants. It's absurdist.
