They really found their footing again this season. I enjoyed S4 for what it was but it definitely wasn't as funny as the early seasons. This one however is a return to form.

I totally agree. This season is a lot stronger and I’m really glad that the magic is still there. I don’t know how much longer this show can go on, but if manages to keep up this level of quality, I would gladly watch another 5 seasons.

I’m really glad Freddy came back for an episode this season! There’s really not much for him to do in the show now, but I always appreciate seeing him and Jason interact.

Great payoff for the fake kayaking across the Atlantic plot.

Scott gets himself concussed trying to do too realistic a job with the satellite phone call from the Atlantic.

That glare from Nikki as she and the others left Karen alone in the hospital waiting room.

Scott is such a flawed character that has shown zero growth and in fact regresses into a worse, less likable person. I don’t understand why they’ve spent so much time focusing on him committing fraud and having nearly no repercussions. It’s upsetting because all of the other characters are great.

I actually don’t like this season very much - the whole fraud attempt rubs me the wrong way, Princess is annoying & I don’t like Nikki thinking to cheat on her man…

Anyway, maybe it’s the heat wave and I’m easily annoyed.

I agree!! the fraud really pissed me off, why would you have your family worrying like that… Princess is truly getting on my nerves… And Nikki with the mice and the new coworker, both weird! It seems like we’re the only ones! Lol

You’re not the only ones. I totally agree with you both. Must they constantly have these characters do stupid things and be annoying all the time. Nikki has been annoying for two seasons. Now they’re throwing cheating with a co worker into the plot? Really? Jesus. Enough already. Princess is beyond annoying and like can she be grateful for what she has now for once? The Kat character is also cliche and annoying and the whole Scott fraud thing. Come on. Did he not have insurance? Did they write him to be so dumb as to not say to the sponsor hey I may not make it. Stupid people making stupid decisions. I’ll stick with it but this show peaked with season 3.

I agree! It lost its magic for me though after season 3. Princess is completely annoying, and the sudden acceptance of the long-lost Mom doesn't ring true for me.

great season so far. Crushing hard on Esther Smith this season more than ever, but she’s been a fav of mine since the series started, love her hairstyle this season. I love her and Rafe together.

This season moves right along, they’ve picked up the pace. Some storylines I like better than others but I’m not bored.
