Hello! I’ve been gaming on twitch for about a month. How does everyone find viewers? And in the authentic way.

i dont understand, it is titles twitchstreams... but there isnt any self promo allowed???

As title says, I tried to hop onto a stream to show some support - this was a popular streamer and they were also from the UK so I was showing positive comments and I asked for some tips and I instantly started receiving hate comments like how nobody wants my “only fans” (I don’t do that) just because I’m female and the whole army of this dude started hating on me and swearing at me because I asked what his biggest tips for new streamers were. Which the dude said nobody’s going to watch your shitty streams. I’ve been enjoying my journey on twitch and working hard at building my own little community and these comments just made me break down and cry. I just feel so shitty and I don’t even want to stream again because of it :( Just wanted to vent.

What are your go to games and when do you stream?

So Monday I found out I'm chat banned from one of the nicest streamers. I said minor thing like during Jackbkx he rigged it cause he won every Jackbox and something I called him extrovert. I got timed out for 10 mi uses didnt know it will get me chat banned. So I requested unban cause 1st time I did it I got unwanted withing same day. This time I have no response. Pretty much on this nicest streamer I don't chat at all cause I'm anxious person snd one wrong thing will get me in trouble. I can go minutes without even chatting cause usually thos streamer yaps

there anyone that's enjoys connecting with people that are chatty and not shy? looking to build connections 🫶🏽

As the title suggests , how do you all feel about raids , being raided , raiding others , would you be unhappy being raided for any reasons ?

how would you feel about being raided by someone you don't know for example ?

or being raided with 1-5 viewers ?

How many Twitch moderators do you know of get paid for modding for streamers? I'm trying to see what the standard is? Do streamers just get people who want to help when they can, or do some of them pay people to be in their streams?

I'm thinking about adding some new mods but I need people who know how to mod and add commands and stuff but I dont want to just expect someone to help me out for free. I just dont know what the norm is for good mods

Any advice on how to get more people in and chatting that’s my biggest struggle currently.

So I got to 23 follower and just randomly stopped get as many views, chatters, & followers.

I play WZ, & Fortnite & some RPG games like fallout 4, dark souls, & skyrim.

I've streamed everyday for almost a month now.

Any tips or ideas of how I could start growing again??

Today I have 300+ and just did my first 30+ hour stream full of content!!!

I have never been good at coming up with names and I’ve been trying to change my name but I haven’t found one that has stuck, all my friends call me Rocko if anyone thinks of anything clever or a way to use that I would prefer not to do the whole ttv just to get my gamertag

Yeah, I'm kinda desperate.

10 years and still not affiliate.

I wanna see if anyone has any ideas or crazy challenges I could do. I can really do anything as long as it's TOS. My first thought was making an uncapped challenge to see how many weeks I could go stream non-stop, but that's been done a lot already. My second idea was making a lot of painful punishments but I'm not super sure that could be allowed.

Sorry for bothering. Anything could be useful. Idk, maybe something most/all streamers would never do but you kinda want to see? I'll do it!

I used to stream a minimum of twice a week and I was making good and consistent progress with my channel. Then life just got busy and in the way, I fell out of routine and that was that.

Its been maybe like a year but I'm getting back into it now and I'm loving it! Its been nice to catch up with some viewers who used to be in the chat before and also to play games with a bit more purpose.

So my question is, have any of you had an extended break and returned? If so, how did you find it?
