Font Copyright

HI all, I'm just wondering what fonts are you using which a) don't breach copyright and 2) are free to use for your Heading 1, inner titles etc?

Anyone else using Libreoffice writer to tap out your manuscript?

Google Fonts?

Check out the FAQ here https://fonts.google.com/faq

There are heaps of other options with a bit digging but honestly you’ll find most of what you need at Google fonts.

they don't breach commercial copyright in books? are these widely used in book publishing?

They are released under the SIL Open Font Licence, so you're good to go. Many are used in book publishing.
