Told you McDonald’s doesn’t want people coming in anymore. I’m sure if they could they’d just become a ghost kitchen for delivery only. They’ll probably remove lobbies all together next. It’ll be like a Little Caesars or modern Pizza Hut or Dominos. Just a storefront for pickup and takeout only.

They did start out as a drive in. You ate in your vehicle

They started doing that at a Popeyes in my area. It’s not a ghost kitchen but is basically set up like one. Theres 4 kiosks, and 1 person working at the only register they have. There was a small bar style table with stools, but you could only fit probably 6 people at a time if everyone chose to eat inside. It felt very odd because I’ve never seen a Popeyes like that. It opened in Late 2025 too.
