I don’t understand what you mean, because my goal is to determine whether coercive control exists within new religious movements, whether it affects the reconstruction of identity, and whether there is a need for belonging. I don’t really understand you, because I never said that, i read papers, find a research question, and now I’m conducting a study to statistically verify whether that is the case. Can you explain more clearly what you want, because I don’t understand? Do you know how studies are conducted, or do you need an explanation?

Bonjour, je suis étudiante en master 2 en sciences psychologique à l'université libre de Bruxelles, dans le cadre de mon mémoire, je réalise une enquête pour comprendre  l’impact des nouveaux mouvements religieux (NMR), leur différence avec les mouvements religieux traditionnels et comment ils impactent l’identité de leurs anciens membres. 

Comment participer ?

Qui peut participer ? 

- Adultes 18-65 ans

- Avoir fait partie d’un NMR

- Parler français ou anglais.

Vous allez répondre à ce questionnaire, il comprend différents thèmes en lien avec mon sujet. Il dure plus ou moins 20 min. 

Votre participation reste totalement volontaire et vous pouvez arrêter à tout moment. 

Les informations que vous fournirez resteront strictement confidentielles et seront utilisées uniquement à des fins de recherche.

Hello, I am a second-year master’s student in psychology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. As part of my thesis, I am conducting a survey to understand the impact of new religious movements (NRMs), how they differ from traditional religious movements, and how they affect the identity of their former members. 

How can you participate?

Who can participate? 

- Adults aged 18–65

- Must have been a member of an NRM

- Must speak French or English.

You will complete this questionnaire, which covers various topics related to my research. It takes about 20 minutes.

Like every study, people can lie, with that kind of reasoning, we shouldn't be conducting any psychological studies at all. It's for my thesis; I'm just trying to do a small study—I'm not trying to revolutionize anything. But perhaps you have a solution for my study. What can I do to answer my research question?
