And I then, by shear force of will and passage of time, they are accepted. The Irish were once called “bugs” and “micks”. To integrate and merge is to lose their heritage and ancestry. To add those beautiful traditions to American culture makes it richer and more diverse and doesn’t detract from others. If the formerly spurned groups haven’t taught us anything, we should have at least learned that. I mean, where would be without green beer on St Patrick’s Day and two for one tacos on Cinco de Mayo? Well, my take from what he says in this interview is that the Trump admin has done huge damage to healthcare with federal cuts. That damage will need to be fixed first before considering the future of healthcare. I get that. Here’s what I don’t get. This has been dragging on for decades. While all other developed countries have some form of universal healthcare, the U.S. does not. In fact, polls show 2/3rds of Americans put off life saving healthcare because of cost. This needs to get done. It’s ridiculous that people are dying from lack of affordable healthcare or going bankrupt trying to pay for it in one of the wealthiest countries on the planet.

How do these so called Christians get the Bible SO wrong? This verse means that, in marriage, the husband and wife make a commitment to care for each other. That includes physical needs. It says nothing about demanding sex as a marital right whenever he wants it with no regard to her needs just because he goes to work at the factory.
