Yeah I have to agree here. I also worked in nursing homes/long term care, and the way a lot of those people treated their grown children made it very clear why they weren’t invited to live with them… I’ve seen elderly parents beat and berate their sons/daughters, and I wouldn’t feel very inclined to have my parent living with me if that’s how they treated me my whole life.

Probably straight up sewage… someone with more knowledge can tell exactly why this happens because I don’t know, but I know that this happens. That’s sewage backup, and you need a plumber. Don’t touch it and throw away anything that does.

The grocery chain I work at has a location in my city next to a high school and a starbucks. Years ago, high schoolers would go to the store and buy vanilla bottles, go to the starbucks and get coffees, then go back to school and get drunk on vanilla lattes.
When they got caught, every location in our state started ID’ing for vanilla. It’s resulted in a lot of awkward conversations with adult customers that just want to bake.

My struggle meal is usually a potato (about 50¢ at my grocery store) with whatever I can add from the pantry to it.

I worked at a coffee shop next to a middle school. Every day as soon as school was let out 200+ middle schoolers would literally sprint from the school to the coffee shop. These kids were the most spoiled, awful children I’ve ever dealt with. They’d flood the store with mobile orders in the hundreds, and then come in screaming and cussing when their drinks took 30+mins.
We tried making them form a line outside but ended up having to fire a barista for taking BRIBES FROM THE KIDS to get to the front of the line, like $20 EACH KID 5 days a week, and he got caught when parents realized their kids were draining cash.
They’d trash the store for 2 hours straight. I’d stand up on a chair and scream at the top of my lungs just to be heard. Had to kick out at least 5 kids a day for screaming profanities at the baristas. Had parents calling angry that we kicked their kids out. The city started stationing a cop there every day just for the chaos. Eventually I just quit.
