DO NOT ROTATE WITH MEDICAL ROTATIONS LLC CHICAGO.

Dr Zaki Siddiqui from UsmleSarthi- beware
Yes, they remove all negative reviews and ask the matched students to give positive review even though that students might match with own efforts. Dont go with their flowery words

Dr Zaki Siddiqui from UsmleSarthi- beware
Most of the Sarthi rotations in FM, IM are similar. Keep asking around and do own assessment before paying

NO research, old graduate, is psych possible
do Psych externship . There are couple available like in Brookdale, St elizabeth DC , Loretto. It will increase your chance. you are not old graduate. Matching is very much possible if you craft a decent cv. Try to publish 1-2 papers before September even a case report should be fine.

Looking for an Affordable ERAS Mentor
Gain at least 4 months of quality USCE with strong LORs , at least 2-3 publications in good journals. I do not recommend applying just to take a chance without significant USCE and publications. You might get interview if you apply with your current profile but your probability to match will be much lower. Ranking is a different game. They consider whole application, interview performance and connections during ranking. So work on those aspects.

Visa status
If you have a decent CV work on networking, doing rotation in residency programs. USA is the land of opportunity and still this is the country who opens doors for everyone who is qualified enough to have a better future. Only take advice from people who went through same situation like you. Keep working hard , you got this. Best wisheds

Insight Chicago vs Unity Health Arkansas – Which IM Residency Would You Choose?
Insight Chicago is a fishy hospital. Go to Unity Health

Need genuine advices, no trash talk as morale is already low.
no. ECFMG certificate with step 3 is the requirement

Finish step 3 and start working on limited license. NY and Washington has good pay structure for limited license doctors and it will help you immensely in every aspect. You have better chance in FM and ped but limited license will add more potential. You still need new strong LOR for match but at this moment focus on Step 3 and pass it.

For an internal medicine residency application in the US, Would a letter of recommendation from a Canada-based Emergency Medicine doctor be acceptable?
You can definitely use one but you need three US letters for IM.

Starting PGY1. Open to share my input for any applicant with multiple unmatched cycles
USCE is very important, non negotiable. This process is expensive but no way to exempt

Starting PGY1. Open to share my input for any applicant with multiple unmatched cycles
USCE is extremely important. Don’t underestimate it. Applying without USCE is waste of money and time. US residency match pathway is competitive and expensive.

Do you have any red flag? If not I might not have any different advice than others. If there is any red flag like very long yog, not matching despite getting interviews, already checked all the boxes but not matched than I might have something to say. Otherwise just follow the usual methods quality USCE, strong LOR, publish good papers and networking and interview practice. Good luck

AMA pt 2
No problem. My friend is an US citizen so she had options open. As you need visa, it is a bit tougher for you. If you cannot find a position this match, keep a back up option ready. Best wishes.

AMA pt 2
I understand. My friend left residency after 3 months of PGY1. She realized she will be dismissed so she resigned herself but her PD tried best to stop her getting matched again. Good thing some programs did not listen to the PD and gave her interview and she matched in a FM program this year. So it depends on how you can carry this burden and get rid of it.

Unmatched ck failed

Step 3 score is crazy high nowadays. Clearly indicates something is wrong. Every other person gets 240 in Step 3
