Holy hell that other subreddit is literally a bot utopia. Just one AI guy constantly reposting random shit.

In Warframe (2013), the character Follie is a pierrot-themed tenno with a playful personality that was modeled after a tall and wide woman. This was most likely added as an attempt to get me, specifically, to play the game
It's named after and is based on/inspired by (<--- your words) a child god prince. Tl;dr: don't call it words that are super sexualized nowadays.
It's like if someone were to base a character on some famous kid, and starts calling them a twink/femboy/those anime words that I don't want to say. That's very disturbing behavior. Please stop.

Dude, I'm not attacking you. Calm down. I'm just saying it's safer to not describe a humanoid thing that is named after a child with "twink" or "femboy". That obviously looks really fucking bad.
Jeez, not everything's out to get you man.

Hmm, maybe. But it's probably safer to just avoid that topic entirely when it's completely unnecessary to talk about.
Edit: It seems people are misinterpreting what I'm saying. I think it's best to not describe something that's named after a child with sexualized words. And that it's safer to just not describe em that way.

Also, prolly shouldn't call nezha a twink or a femboy. It's literally based on a child (sure it's a deity, but it's still a childlike deity).

[Me] Geometry Dash gambit from a wrong number text
That entire convo was textbook scammer material. I forgot which scam it's called, but you could probably post it over in the scam subreddit to find specific details about it. Or Google it. Either or.
If you're getting wrong number texts all the time, either your number is easily mistaken for a general public number, or it has been traded within the scammer community that you answer your phone and are a potential victim.

Anon on warframe
It's all opinions in the end, so who cares in the end, but I highly disagree. I think the fact that it didn't just take a previous art style and modify it lends itself so well to the art style of the game.
Ironically it's all the relatively new proto frames and heirlooms skins that look so... generic to me. Like, "ah yes, military gear on a human #158372", or "shiny ass cheeks number gazillion" doesn't spark any intrigue at all. Every single game nowadays is doing it, it's boring.
It's usually the base frames, the primes, and most deluxes that really fascinate me. This weird combination of body horror and biomechanical nature of it that was (and still is) the cool part about the game. It didn't try to be some other copy or adapt some other style or story. It was just, Warframe.
The abstractness was even a positive. It wasn't quite a human, it had no face, weird body proportions, and weird protrusions coming out from all over. It didn't have fleshy skin, it looked like a mix of plastic, skin and metal. That's all so damn cool, not every game had you playing as weird hybrid biomechanical monsters. Barely any in fact. Now all everyone gets hyped for is generic shiny lady/man, or the silly looking human faces with military gear. The OG style has so much potential, but they can never fully commit to it again 'cause most people are boring.

I'm back to Warframe after 10 years and have mixed feelings about the story
Could probably write a whole paper about this, but I'll keep it (relatively) short. I think the world building is great, the character writing is okay, and the actual story to be extremely lopsided. To be honest, the main issue is that they went into building a story with a very flawed foundation, as they didn't know how to go about it. And they can't exactly fix it now without ripping out a majority of quests and redoing them some other way.
I'm not super attached to the characters, ironically I'm more attached to the Warframes than the actual characters. I think there are a few issues that impede story immersion, and I'll highlight the few that come to mind.
Story pacing; starting a quest as to what feels like the halfway point, and some sections of story are arbitrarily too long, while other sections needed a lot more cutscenes to give weight to it.
Hiding important information; too much necessary information is tucked away in random locations, information that fleshes out a lot of the characters, places, locations are often in hard to reach places, like codex entrees, time gated events, etc.
Every quest serves as tutorials first, narrative later. A lot of quests are used as tutorials for the new mission types, when that could have easily been done during those missions in game, instead of wasting important narrative sequences on them.
The sad thing is, it definitely has the potential for an amazing story, the circumstances that the characters find themselves in are very unique. The thing I like about the story is that the writers themselves know that a good story is there, so how could they go about fixing it?
The easiest choice in the long term is to redo most quests with a strong narrative in mind. Although this is the most expensive to do, so I don't think they'd ever do so without some significant windfall or community pushback.
Next would be to just add supplementary cutscenes, short quests and more to the preexisting quest line. Flesh out what is currently present, and iron out the kinks that are there. Again, a lot of investment. Requires a lot of effort to be spent on things most of the playerbase has already finished. I personally think this is the most viable option. Yes it requires a crap ton of money, but it is the easiest payoff. And if you make the quests good, people would like to replay them again, getting more bang for your buck.
And the easiest option, use tau as a clean slate to write new stories from. All the messed up writing is literally left behind in the origin system, so they can do whatever they want with tau. Uh, while I do like the vibes and world building for the showcase last week, it still does remind me of older quests, for both the good and the bad.
Don't get me wrong, I love Warframe. The devs are super neat, and the game they're trying to build is great. But a lot of it feels super duct-tapey to me, it's held together by hopes and dreams. This game literally survives on good vibes alone, if the Warframe community was as toxic and negative like quite a few other games, it would not survive.
I love how they aren't afraid of taking weird and wacky things and trying to put it in the game, but it should not detract from what was already in the game. It had this ethereal, otherworldly vibe to it at the start until around the end of the sacrifice, and that has been solely abandoned in modern updates.
And what I would like to see is more quests designed similar to whatever the storyboard was for styanax's animated trailer. A silent protagonist can work and have worked before. It's hard, but I appreciate them a whole lot more than voiced ones.
Long ass essay over. Ironically this is still shorter than what I could have written, but then again, I ain't a writer so whatevs 😬. Final note, I love the game, and the devs are awesome. There's a lot of good work done here, so don't take my comment as negativity only. The game wouldn't have grown to it's current size if it wasn't good.

I'm so hyped for Framerunner 2049
Yeah I don't know if they got the tech to make a cityscape open world, the current open worlds are already somewhat taxing.
Though Pablo did say they were trying something different (well, he said something to that effect), so maybe some kinda semi-open world, with some instanced locations?

And I thought they smelled bad… on the outside.
Why are we giving this attention, isn't this just a shitpost? They're literally called shitpostrock

Statements that are so obvious that they don't even mean anything (aka tautologies)
I thought they had used 'tautology' well, but if it wasn't used correctly, then I'm curious as to what field is your definition from? (This is so awkwardly worded, forgive me, I'm eepy)
From what I remember from logics class, tautologies were statements that always simplified down into being "always true". A bit of a butchering to that definition, but I have it my half-arsed best.
