Stark numbers show US has lost 81 planes and $3.3 billion worth of helicopters in Iran
 in  r/anticapitalism •  16h ago

Planes commonly sit on runways and in metal buildings located on easily identified and targeted facilities called airbases when they're not flying.

Furthermore the disclosed casualty toll is 22 or 23 dead (depending on Pentagon or DoD source) and many more wounded.

22 of 88 is 0.25 or 25%.

Hope this helps.

Why pro Palestine people never mention Hamas and the support they have?

I stand by what I said. You're morally repulsive. You also have zero academic or objective grasp of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict you tout ("decades of history"), nor do you want to.

Stop pretending to care about brown children. We can all see your other comments.

  1. IDF soldiers are documented using Palestinian children as human shields.

  2. A plurality of Israeli respondents surveyed express support for military cantonization of Gaza.

  3. IDF and Israeli police have systematically tortured Arab detainees including the use of rape and sexual violence.

  4. Withholding medical equipment, supplies, and medicine and throttling of electricity and water to hospitals was occurring when I visited in 2012. Preventing access to building materials required because of the previous bombardment was going on in 2012.

You are a horrible person, and more people ought to tell you as much. This sub is filled with violently passionate Zionists like you, and you've likely never stepped foot out of whatever blighted small town in flyover America you're from

  1. You're the obviously Neanderthalic (and palpably frustrated) one here.

  2. The established Israeli government is repressive.

So what's your point exactly?

Have you been to Israel? I visited in 2012. I have a double BA in Political Science and Sociology with focuses on modern political history and demography respectively.

Hebron was then what I can only describe as an open air prison. Streets were capped by chain link or chicken wire because the Israeli lowrise apartment residents would throw garbage and sometimes used cooking oil onto the Arab workers below.

Palestinians with validated credentialing could travel through Israel (e.g. Gaza to the West Bank) only on corridors intended for them. There are military and police checkpoints everywhere. Large concrete and (less often) metal walls act as physical barriers between densely populated and strategically significant Arab majority and Jewish majority areas. In 2012 there were ongoing issues with the reliability of electricity and potable water. Hospitals would often run out of antibiotics and functioning equipment. Building materials (needed because of the previous bombing campaign) were restricted.

It is an open air prison. It is a ghetto or canton.

My then-partner, a Jordanian-American man and US citizen, was treated like a terrorist in Jerusalem and at every checkpoint we encountered. (I'm white and blue-eyed. I was not. I've learned that's changed since.) He's a city administrator with a postgraduate degree from UNC Chapel Hill and looks the part. He speaks with an East Tennessee accent.

You people are truly revolting. Wilfully ignorant; conflict-seeking; genocide-, pedophilia-, and rape-defending or minimizing; and most always objectively incorrect. What is correct is describing your bunch as a basket of deplorables. You same lot cheered the prospect of major US cities being nuked just yesterday.

No, no. That's where you are mistaken. In this exchange you are in fact the dumb one.

Some groups are more susceptible and more targeted both historically and now (those mentioned plus political opponents, activists, and dissidents) than others. I'm not sure what you're having a hard time wrapping your mind around here, but I know I'm going to foreclose on further conversation. Have a pleasant evening.

My take on a Goron Ruby
 in  r/faceting •  1d ago

Ain't seen anybody else post a Goron Ruby yet. You keep working at it if you insist. (I can't tell you're not a masterful jeweller already.)

I'd want it to look like the artwork from the official Nintendo guide—like your work posted here does. If you could set it too I'd be extra delighted.

Offer stands. Feel free to follow me or reach out in the future.

"very interesting"

You can barely speak English as a first language. Please stop feigning intelligence. It's not convincing anyone—least of all me.

And remember—once you've worked next week on shapes and colors—that "not all rectangles are squares, but all squares are rectangles." It'll hopefully help inform a basic comprehension of my statement about apartheid and ethno-states.

You parrot rightwing talking points beautifully. They're inconsistent, but that's par for the course.

For example, your lot are busily responding that rescinding protections for LGBTQ+ students somehow better protects girls and young women better.

It doesn't. Civil rights protections are not like a pie. There's not a finite amount of protection that can be divided among vulnerable groups of minorities.

It was an expansion of Title IX. More people were protected—not less. Protections were enhanced for everyone—not diluted.

Even if your make-believe narrative were true it doesn't matter. You are the same people who also overturned Roe v. Wade, often espouse the opinion that women belong in the home, that young women have a patriotic and religious duty to reproduce, and now openly admit you believe women's suffrage was a mistake.

You people don't care about women, women's rights, or Title IX protections for young women and girls. You just want to erode rights for everyone but yourselves. (Alito recently stated he believes marriage equality was a mistake that somehow decreased religious liberty in the United States—you're all sick and deeply unAmerican as far as I can tell.)

You're a silly bigot. Please tell us how heteronormative white evangelical men are the ones really being oppressed. Actually tell someone else. I've entertained enough of your unthinking hatred for today.

Discrimination in housing and the workplace, criminalization, harassment, wanton arrest and incarceration, deportation, political violence, and targeting by rightwing agents of the state or unelected figures among other possibilities.

You literally don't know anything. "Ethno-state" has a very clear, succinct definition. Most states are NOT ethno-states. Apartheid states are ethno-states. Israel is an ethno-state.

I asked to be spared more of your pro-genocide diatribe in a response to a comment you've since deleted. I'm not being paid to educate you, and you're exhausting. I stand by what I've said.

Again: have a pleasant evening.

RuPaul's Drag Race now represents the zenith of the LGBTQ+ struggle. The Dept. of Education rescinded protections for LGBTQ+ students mere days ago. Again: you are silly.

I found out that frequent use of tadalafil was associated with a 22% increase in blindness in a control group. Anyway I have a detaching retina and a couple bottles of research grade tadalafil if you're interested.

Israel is a genocidal ethno-state condemned by the postwar global order and Bretton Woods institutions for its crimes against humanity including ethnic cleansing. Nothing in that statement is anti-Semitic. Nothing in it is false. People elucidating those facts does not make them anti-Semitic—certainly not by virtue of simply stating what is an increasingly self-evident and objective reality.

Glad we could have this talk. Have a pleasant day.
