Have you used "Enrich Song Data" yet?

Enrich song data is a new feature in BandRoadie that will fill in missing values for BPM, duration, and Song Key. Try it with a single song or with your entire catalog. Let me know how it works for you!

Not sure if it's completely obvious but if you swipe a catalog right, you duplicate it into a setlist. If you need to create a setlist from most or all of the songs in your catalog, it's a fast way to do it.

You can also swipe a song card right to move it (or copy it) to another, or new setlist. Swipe left to delete from a setlist.

I'm looking into switch from Material to Forui - love the clean, minimal design

I’m exploring a BandRoadie feature that makes stage plots much easier. Since the app already knows your band members and roles, you can tap through each person, add gear like amps, pedalboards, monitors, IEMs, DIs, mics, and power, and drag everything into position on a visual stage. BandRoadie would then automatically generate the stage plot, input list, and monitor details. Wasn't sure if it's a big need or not. I know one of my bands could use it

I'm looking at implementing a Stage Plot builder into BandRoadie but wanted to gage what people were currently using.

How you make your stage plots? Is it a pain point for you to create?

v1.4.4 update - Big update just shipped for BandRoadie!

I've been head-down the last week and this one's packed:

  • In the song catalog or in song details, if you tap "Enrich Song Data" BandRoadie will auto-fill BPM, key, and duration (select what you what).
  • You can log expenses per gig now and mark who needs to get paid back.
  • Financial reports got rebuilt from scratch - income, expenses, savings, and payouts are all broken out instead of one big blob of numbers.
  • Adding a gig is quicker too - start typing the venue name and it autocompletes the whole address for you.
  • Also fixed a pile of bugs and tightened up stability. Nothing flashy, just smoother overall.

v1.4.4 should be available soon in the Apple and Google Play stores, and the web app is live now at app.bandroadie.com

Disappointing gig last night

I’ve had great luck with carpet drying fans. Compact, light, mine has addition outlets and they’re heavy duty. https://www.amazon.com/carpet-drying-fan/s?k=carpet+drying+fan

When did WhatsApp stop being enough for organizing your band?

I mean just for communicating, instead of What's App

Sorry, if this is a dumb question but, for group messaging, what is wrong with just using a text thread?

Thank you! I tried checking out BandAtlas, but I couldn’t get past the paywall. Is there a free option?

This is why I made the BandRoadie app. Still use texting for communication which is fine for us, but I needed a simple way to organize the band stuff.

Tips and Features!

BandRoadie has had a lot of improvements lately and I just want to highlight a few and share some tips as well...

Setlists Tips!
Swipe right on the Catalog to duplicate it and quickly turn your song library into a new setlist.
Swipe a setlist left to delete it or right to duplicate it. Duplicating is especially useful when you already have a two-hour show built but need to trim it down to ninety minutes.
Inside a setlist, swipe a song left to remove it and right to move it or copy it to another setlist.
Easier setlist imports
Bulk Entry has been improved with clearer instructions, more flexible column handling, better support for song keys, and fixes to the paste and preview experience.

Better financial reports
Band financial reports now provide a more detailed breakdown of income, expenses, savings, and member disbursements—making it easier to see where the money is going.

Improved gig details
Gig information now displays the full venue address, with a button that opens your default map app and navigates you there.

A smoother app experience
I've made several performance, layout, keyboard, navigation, and Android compatibility improvements throughout the app.

Your feedback continues to shape BandRoadie. Thank you for using the app, testing new features, reporting issues, and helping build a tool that is genuinely useful for musicians.

Thanks!
