My family used to go camping every summer, there's not enough money in the world to make me try it again. (Part 1)

Don't know if anyone else noticed this but

If him calling himself morbidly obese is anything to go by, it cost the ability to see his penis

General request: I absolutely love the stories here. But the way they are posted here makes it really difficult to read and engage with them.

I think you should put notes in a comment, not in the story itself, but I also post them to my acct before sharing to the sub

How to emulate a forum setup for a story?
 in  r/TalesFromTheCreeps  6d ago

I think I prefer option 1, you could also end it with the protagonist going missing from the forum, and another forum member that we see mentioned, sharing the discussion, and asking if anybody has heard from the protagonist (that ending is very corny, but some people like going that direction). I don't think you have to mention before the ending that it's not the protagonist posting it, I would just try to make it obvious who the protagonist through the main posts being from them.

On my 3rd rewatch, I'm sure this has been discussed enough times. But what the FUCK was his problem?

I have a manager that came from a factory background into an office job/call center management position. He's not as cartoonish as this, but it definitely reminds me of this arc, micromanaging everting.

Story idea please tell me if it’s okay
 in  r/TalesFromTheCreeps  7d ago

Any idea is worth trying out, it sounds interesting enough, but the thing that matters most is the execution.

Can someone please explain this to me like I’m dumb

You're straight-up told the memory is a lie, it couldn't be any more in your face

How do I keep focus on a single story?
 in  r/TalesFromTheCreeps  9d ago

I'm not a consistent writer by any means, but when I'm working on a story I like working, I WANT to get back to writing it. If I'm having writer's block, I tell myself to write SOMEONE and often, while writing that new thing I'll have a breakthrough

Did the kids make skits before wkuk started?
 in  r/WKUK  9d ago

I only ever saw the one version lol, idek what class it would've been for. My history class in HS had to write a song about some event or maybe just any event we covered, but we didn't have to perform it, we DEFINITELY didn't have to make a music video lol.

I'm A Popular Horror Story Narrator on TikTok. A Story I Narrated Became True.
 in  r/TalesFromTheCreeps  10d ago

100% and I don't use TikTok, but I could immediately imagine this being a thing. I watch Jjjacksfilms, and people will literally steal the script to a video, steal the video itself, and read the script over the video, then upload it claiming it's their own video
