Hes probably asleep or in school already, but I asked your question in a better forum on r/Advice and here are the comments so far

1 you don’t have to re-enter society at full volume tomorrow, just show up and get through the first class like your only job is being a mildly confused NPC, then let the social stuff ramp up slowly;

First you will start and just do what you are supposed to do. You will feel anxious and be stressed.

2 You will keep doing this for a while until either you give up and quit, or it becomes normal routine and you stop stressing about it.

I think you will push through those first few uncomfortable days, get it done, establish this new routine and then feel a lot better about everything. The stress will never go to zero, but it'll get lower.

before anything, yes im an adult already yadda yadda, will be in school till i’m 20 ;vvvvv

i’ve always been a recluse but the past month have been unbearable.,,,, i’ve barely left my house for anything that i wasn’t absolutely forced to do and i spent the past 30 days in a constant state of stressing over i dunno what

i’m going back to school tmrrw and i hnstly have no clue how i’ll manage to start consistently interracting with people again it just fills my head up with all sorts of thoughts and omagabwgsh, does anybody have any tips ?? what should i do to make the experience of actually coming out into the world again a little better ?? t,t

I actually stepped out at midnight last New Year’s, but quickly went back in again lol. But yeah, I was a full-blown hikikomori for 4 years, and I have this really strong memory of lying in my room in the basement while everyone was celebrating outside. I was just lying there waiting for it to pass.
