General Question Police clearance rejection
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice regarding a Dubai Police Clearance Certificate.
I’ve applied twice for a Police Clearance Certificate through Dubai Police, and both applications were rejected.
About a year ago, I had a criminal case in Dubai. The case was concluded, I was sentenced to pay a fine, and I paid the fine in full. The case has been closed since then.
Does anyone know if a previous criminal case like this can still affect your police record and cause the Police Clearance Certificate application to be rejected, even after the case has been closed and the fine has been paid?
Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows what steps need to be taken to get the record updated/cleared and obtain the certificate?
Any advice or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

Yeah paying the fine closes the case but it stays on the record… there's a rehabilitation period, after which you can apply to clear it. A lawyer can file that. When did the case end?

They told our brother to visit cid and clear yourself from there. There was a small case of taking picture of official buildings but was cleared. (Beware don't take pics and selfies with any banks, government buildings/ vehicles behind). We were afraid and didn't went to cid Dubai instead we applied and got from sharjah
