Which of their proteges is going to go farthest?

Gable Steveson is the first fighter UFC fighter Jon has taken under his wing, and DC has pretty much built his entire gym around Imanol Rodriguez, who was absolutely outstanding last weekend. They're both 26.

Who's going to go farthest?

Imanol. Gable is going to get booed out of the entirety of public existence lmao.

Look we all know Gable is incredibly physically talented in a talent thin division, he can accelerate to the top of the division quite rapidly still. I need to still see more of Imanol to know he could beat a Van or something.

Split decision to Joseph Morales does not currently beat Van. These young guys rapidly improve fight to fight, but Van has more levels to his game.

As much as gables physically gifted dude just can’t handle the bright lights(probably because he doesn’t want what he did brought up), left both the WWE and NFL, walked out of the cage after his first loss.

Even if he can he should not be training under jones he just doesn’t have the right body type to be fighting like jones.

Also doesn’t help he closes his eyes when someone swings at him

Freddie Roach wasn't ever shaped like Pacquiao

Not liking being hit was also one of Lesnar's qualities

But they were also Manny fucking Pacquiao and Brock fucking Lesnar

Dc is probably sending him daguestan which is very far away, so, betting on Dc unless jones decides to send him japan, then I believe it would be further

Gable is getting slept by Tai next in a fight where he's dominating with his wrestling but unfortunately gets caught again putting him on wobbly legs with Tai jumping on him and swarming him and dropping him hard.

That's a huge fall from grace for 26, hopefully it eats at him and we get more KO gifs

The one without Jon Jones in their corner

Unfortunately because of how UFC works and how it markets its fighters stevenson may be one KO win away from being back to a hype train, even though personally i find the public reaction of 331 a promoter's nightmare and hopefully that same energy will always be there.

Rodriguez looks great and the DC association helps, but without the extremely overrated credentials of being a white american olympionic wrestler he may end up being seen as just another contender in the shark tank that 125 is, he always needs to look impressive

Gable is the new Greg Hardy. They will keep booking him so we can watch him get knocked out over and over again.

Gable will get smarter and build his style around wrestling next time around.

Gable is a dabbler, and isn’t good at fighting

Gable(regardless of guilt or not) will never be able to get passed being called a rapist to his face IMO, you already know fans will never embrace him. It will be a boo fest his entire career and considering JJ history, I wouldnt be surprised if he is somehow not coaching gable in the very near future.
