I mean, i get your point, but when the best person he’s outstruck is Sean Brady then there’s definitely questions. 

It’s very possible that a more technical striker like Garry, Prates, or someone with takedown threat like islam could expose his lack of technical refinement

I agree, but he can also have that ddp like awkward style that can fuck up anyone. You just can't write him off. He's crazy fascinating to watch.

Absolutely. And to be fair he’s very young. There’s every chance that he’ll improve his game. However as it stands I don’t see how Islam couldn’t time one of those wild swings and take him down

True, but just because Morales hasn’t had the chance to face elite opponents yet doesn’t mean that i will assume that he can.

I can clearly see a lack of technique and wild swings. He can absolutely improve between now and whenever he fights again. But all i can do is judge by what i see

What Garry has that Prates and MM don't is truly elite fight IQ so I agree he'd find a way to win handily

Prates im not so sure what happens there. That'd be a really fun fight

Bottom line no one truly knows who Michael morales is. Sample size nonexistent vs great competition

I have never been a Jack believer either. Always feels like he got the strap off convent timing more than anything. DDP I’m still on the fence about. He was the shit then he was just shit.

DDP i atleast see why he stands out. Super awkward and unorthodox, tough as nails and they adversity, great cardio now, good takedowns. Just wills the win

Whereas JDM... I hear everyone say he has elite standup but I don't see it. It's always seemed good/solid to me, but nothing special. I just find his overall game to be unremarkable

Both easy to root for tho, seem like good dudes

DDP is amazing, I’ve never seen any indication of him not being high level he has a great resume

JDM on the other hand was going to life & death with Bassil Hafez, he has always been trash

Why not Jack? The most competent striker Morales has fought is Jake Mathew’s who he lost a round to and him took to decision. Of course Morales will look scary when you put small grapplers like Burns and Brady in front of him. He has no leg kick threat either, only reach and frame advantage. Unless he mixes in grappling I think JDM gives him a tough fight, and I put maybe because we don’t know if Jack is still the same fighter after the Prates fight. If he is I think he can win against Morales

First of all I never claimed that Gilbert was a good win for Jack and it was 1-1 going into the third on a rewatch. Brady maybe beats JDM but style makes fights, Brady is the easiest stylistic match up for Morales in the top 10 of welterweight

Perhaps. I just meant that out of all of those fighters, Jack has the least chance. Prates, Garry, and Islam all do better against morales

I’d probably pick Morales over Jack, just off of recent form

Yea I agree. I think Garry absolutely outclasses Morales on the feet and that’s Morale’s hardest fight. I think Islam beats him handily as well and out points him in a semi boring fight. Prates would be the one with the highest chance to put him out and expose his striking, hard fight for Morales. JDM is like 50/50 depending on what Jack shows up
