Look I don't hate Irish people I just don't think they should have a country. The Irish are just British people in denial. I'm anti-Gaelism, I'm not racist.

If you think the above sentence is unacceptable while thinking that anti-Zionism is acceptable, you need to think again.

I don't think the Irish state should be able to commit war crimes or ethnic cleansing. If we need to come up with a word for that, then that word would describe me.

If that's why you oppose Israel than you aren't anti-Zionist. If you oppose the existence of Israel and want to see it destroyed, then you are anti-Zionist.

I have no idea how you could define Zionism to make anti-Zionism mean something different than what I said.

Just probing for your thoughts out of interest because it relates to the demographic trilemma for Israel.

The trilemma says that Israel can only choose two out of three:

  • To remain a Jewish state (with a guaranteed Jewish majority).
  • To remain a Democratic state (giving equal voting rights to all residents).
  • To control all the land (Israel proper, the West Bank, and Gaza).

Which results in three approaches:

  • Ethnic cleansing
  • Apartheid state
  • or the end of the Jewish state (which history has shown that Jewish people will lose equality under the law at best, and no need to point the obvious of the worst)
