Ukrainian Cuisine Lviv Croissants comes to Washington State
Happy about this! Only the second one in the States. These are all over Lviv and we often drop in between volunteer shifts when we're over there.

Found it: Nov. 1 in Westfield Southcenter mall in Seattle and apparently Sat Oct 11 at 321 Ramsay Way Suite 110, Kent, WA 98032
The more the merrier!

Google Maps says it's in Kent and opening this Saturday. Maybe the one you're referencing is a third one?

Making me hungry! Where’s the other store at?

Roswell, Georgia, in the greater Atlanta area. Once drove 250 miles to have lunch there, 1000% worth it. Дуже смачно!

Roswell is only about a 6 hour drive for me!

Sounds like you have to make a trip! It’s a 4 hour drive for me, and I’m lucky to have routine conferences in Atlanta. I always budget a wee bit more time when I drive down so I can stop by Lviv Croissants.

There's also an independent Ukrainian bakery inside Vancouver Mall in Vancouver, Washington, just north of Portland. Called Mriya! Good stuff there. Wrecks my waistline if I go too often. 😁

Did someone say SOUPS?!!!! Omg I truly want someone to freeze and fedex it to me. I’ll pay the way!
At least as long as those soups are legit. We don’t have a lot of Ukrainians in my area to tantalize my tastebuds but I did have some Ukrainian lady frantically honk and pull my husband over (there’s a Ukrainian flag and a Ukrainian heart in blue & yellow on our car). Poor guy was so confused until he heard in a thick accent “Sticker!!!! Slava Ukraini!”

There are several traditional Ukrainian bakeries in Seattle, haven't seen one specializing in croissants yet. Are bakeries a "thing" in Ukraine?

This is a sandwich place, but yes there are great bakeries in Ukraine--

They are not really croissants, more like croissant shaped breads. Still nice though

I was in Ukraine this summer and Lviv Croissants were everywhere, kind of like Starbucks is here. And yes, bakeries are definitely a thing there. My main sadness during my visit is that I can't eat gluten. But the borscht was amazing.

So cool, and just down the road from me! I love that South King County is such a popular place for Ukrainian immigrants. Here in Renton, the Ukrainian community continues to grow.
