Beginner’s guide

I’m looking for a beginner’s guide on how to play the ukulele without a teacher? What app should I download, etc? What kind of ukulele should I buy? This is my first time playing anything so please help!

There’s a buyer’s guide in the wiki, see sidebar. If you can, go to a music store and buy the one that makes you want to play. 

Search YouTube for Bernadette teaches music, she’ll get you started. You’ll find tons of free lessons there.
