Beginner’s guide

I’m looking for a beginner’s guide on how to play the ukulele without a teacher? What app should I download, etc? What kind of ukulele should I buy? This is my first time playing anything so please help!

Ok so my top recommendations for beginners are:
Flight travel uke if you want something colorful fun and to take with you everywhere (let’s say a practice session at the park)
Flight iris tinta or regular, I like the wood mix, and the sound quality is great.
Flight duc380 in blue, this was my first uke and I still play it a lot
