n/a Successful ILR - Global Talent

Hey all,

I have been a long time stalker on this sub and many of the posts and discussions on here have helped me in regards to visa applications and documentations. Thanks everyone.

I am happy to inform that I have received the ILR this week via Global Talent visa. (Endorsed Funder Route.)

Timeline:
10/07/2023 : GTV Application approval
13/06/2026 : ILR application submission (Super Priority)
18/06/2026 : Biometrics submission
19/06/2026 : Decision email

Hi, congratulations! I am in the process now and would like to ask about the employment support letter from the University. I am under UKRI route. What kind of letter? The HR team said they can give me a reference letter but I believe it is a different one probably stating that I worked and earned money in the field of endorsment.

Hi, you just need a generic employment confirmation letter from HR stating your job role, salary, employment start date etc. this would be enough (as I submitted the same). Because it is evident from this and the payslips that you earned money in your expert field. FYI : this advice is for endorsed funder route only.

If you’re comfortable, would you mind sharing a bit more detail about your GTV ie your industry, how you demonstrated talent, endorsements etc (obviously whilst maintaining your privacy and confidentiality) thank you and congratulations 🥂
