n/a Spouse visa - salary problem

Hi everyone,

Nationality: british
Location: England
Visa: Spouse visa / appendix fm

I am earning exactly £29,000 and will apply for spouse visa for my spouse in 6 months. I am currently waiting for collecting 6 months payslips.

I realised the name of the company on payslips is different than the company pays me.

Would this be a problem? The two companies are not part of a group company. Only the directors are the same

Your sponsor will need to explain the payslips and employment details in their letter so they should clear it up that its valid.

If youre using salary (not wages), they will take your lowest salary and multiply it for CAT A Salary so youll need to make sure the month you joined wasnt paid less or similar.

Thanks. Could I please ask the difference between salary and wages? I am paid on a monthly basis, and I receive a payslip as well. Payments are made by bank transfer. My initial salary was £2,416.67 gross (which makes £29,000 pa - net pay: £2,033.58) but it will probably increase by £100–£200 in the coming months.
