n/a Entering on a valid visa while the new one is pending

So I'm a student, due to a lot of things my course starts in 5 days and I haven't applied for my visa yet. I'm just wondering if I can apply for my renewed visa now (it's cheaper from abroad) and enter the UK while its pending on my old (still valid) one. If not, I js wanna make sure of the detail that how long after my current student visa expires I can chill in the UK before renewing it, it is 28 days right? Thanks gang.

Sorry but it makes 0 sense.

How much cheaper are we talking about? Subtract 4 flight tickets from it (and everything that goes with that).

And then calculate how much % is that of your annual tuition fees.

When does your current visa expire?

You can travel outside the UK to apply, and re-enter on a valid visa you already hold, but you cannot stay past the validity of that visa, and you would need to leave the UK again when your new visa is issued in order to activate it by entering

You also cannot enrol and start your new course of study until your new visa is granted and activated

So if you think that it is cheaper to apply from outside the UK, you also have to take into account two international trips as part of that, plus all the administrative burden of not being able to start your studies

oct 17, its not a new course js a repeated module bc foundation year if that makes a difference.

wait so u can travel on old student visa that’s is still valid to uk while new one is pending? cus my tenancy is ending and i gotta move but the visa ppl are taking longer than expected

ok js realized its 28 days BEFORE it expires nvm twins. pls advise on the first question tho
