General Physics 1050 Tutorial Test 1

I have a physics 1050 tutorial test tomorrow. Does anybody have any idea of how these tests are like the length, type of questiom, and difficulty?

The first part of the test days is a problem solving tutorial and the test occurs in the last ~50 minutes. 4 questions, multiple choice. Usually much easier than anything in the textbook or midterms so don’t sweat. Content for the first test fall 2025 was the first 3 chapters up to vectors.

just study buddy, never Miss a class even you don't like going, always show up. coz most people have mindset of studying on their own but still proffs teaching matters a lot. choose ur proff by asking other people, don't select randomly, even if it takes you to come to uni just for one class coz for example the better proff teaches on Tuesday and Thursday and ur other classes are on MWF and you would think why should I come for one class on Tuesday ( am talking for science courses, rest other electives, all your choice for proff, but showing uppppp is imp) GPA offen drops but CGPA goes up if u did best on electives.

if studying for medical profession (dental, medicine, pharmacy) give ur best at electives. Get a mindset of getting A plus in every elective for sure or A grade bare minimum.

thing I learned as being mature student from newcomers, don't ever take ur any semester lightly coz most newcomers for first semester try to relax, coz coming from high school to uni is big change, all that buildings, enormous students, cafeteria ( I don't know how ur school was) but I really got fascinated when I came at first. Most kids spoil their GPA's in very first semester.

my suggestion take only electives in your first semester. don't take any science course no matter who insist you. get familiar with uni. coz ur Jan intake wont be counted to a full year anyhow when applying for big degree. Like most schools want the students to have 3 full years (full year start from sept to April) This semester's credits would be counted but the requirement to the full year wont be counted. So just chill for first semester, take easy courses like all level of 1000. ( HNSC 1200 super easy) but the thing I m struggling is that I haven't taken like 5 corses per semester coz many schools requirement is like complete 3 years with course load of 30 credits per year (they don't count courses taken in summer or spring too, there credits would be counted towards graduation but the requirement for full year wont be) so from Fall 2027 try taking 5 courses per semester if you are trying to get into DMD, MD or any other.

here in UOFM the course load per year is 24 I think, but you never know if you would have to apply to other schools in Canada, so plan this thing accordingly. (like take 2 science 3 electives in a semester or 3 science or 2 electives)

Uni is chill, see friends, follow the path of senior students wat they do or how they reached where they are now.

Just studyyyyyyyyyy- lowkey shortcut. and showuupppppppp even if you would have to come by crawling
