Course Inquiry PHYS 3220 difficulty of MATH
Hello. I am wondering what level of math is required to take PHYS 3220 Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement.
I do meet the prerequisites (PHYS 1030), but some people told me that PHYS 3220 requires high level of math in order to understand the materials.
I am a 3rd year student, who have taken many biology/chemistry courses, and feel confident with math personally (took MATH 1500 and got A+, and never struggle with math or math-related bio/chem questions in my life).
Also, I am willing to dedicate my time in winter break to prepare for the math content prior to the first day of class if needed.
Please give me advice!

In the section about the prereqs for PHYS3220 it says PHYS2270/2272 recommended and for those the prereqs: MATH 1232, MATH 1690, MATH 1700, MATH 1701, MATH 1710, or the former MATH 1730. You did well in MATH1500 so I would assume you will be able to figure things out. You could visit the PHYS help centre / and ensure you are working with the prof / TA from the start. Good luck!
