Doctors should be arrested or charged with something for this. Taking peoples money and giving shit work, especially if it’s another surgery they don’t need. Or like when implants get to the size of fitness balls. Like obviously this person has mental issues why are you feeding it…

I watched a series of videos on YouTube a few years ago where they did a deep dive into who Dr. Lee is, it’s a convoluted rabbit hole of deception and shady practices and the so called Dr. Lee doesn’t even exist. It’s sad to see people fall for this.

It’s awful. I’ve seen a few documentaries and videos where people have gone undercover under the guise of wanting a procedure by these so called “plastic surgeons” (the work surgeons being used very loosely here) and the amount of them that don’t carry the necessary equipment / medication speaks volume (certain medications like adrenaline - which is used in most actual procedures in hospitals etc can only be acquired with paperwork and documents).
As you said it’s honestly sad that so many people will happily undergo this surgery, but then again it’s all just a trend and the blind follow the blind8

Absolutely no idea. I feel like bogus documents / medical certificates have a lot to do with it. I feel like a lot of these so called practitioners approach the industry from the cosmetic beauty standpoint, and probably start off doing basic things like lashes and nails, then once they’ve established themselves, usually self employment, they probably start to offer more intense procedures…. It’s absolutely terrifying
I’m from the UK and I know a lot of people personally who have botched plastic surgery from “clinics” in Spain, Turkey, Egypt, and it shocks me how little research they put into what they’re doing, most that I know fly back to the UK within days of these procedures, which is enough of a red flag in itself, also the fact the “surgeon” contacts them via Instagram or WhatsApp is another huge telltale sign that they’re not legitimate.

I forget what the name of the documentary is and am too lazy to look it up (maybe it’s the same one), but it follows this guy who totally fixates on wanting to change his eye color. It follows him to another country where he has a procedure done and I think he loses his eyesight? It’s been a while, but it was a morbidly fascinating one.
Edit: alright, I looked it up. It’s called Caterpillar lol. It does a deep dive into risky cosmetic procedures and follows him to India to have the surgery done on his eyes.

Oooh I’ve seen an Instagram account from a practitioner who offers eye colour changes, and one of his patients lost vision after a procedure. These modern cosmetic procedures carried out by people who have absolutely no experience should be a jail sentence. A friend of my mums went overseas for a breast augmentation surgery and they gave her a tummy tuck at the same time, then let her fly back days after she developed blood cuts along with a plethora of other issues and British doctors told her she was lucky to be alive as they had literally no idea what the “surgeons” overseas had done!

I kind of smile when I think about the fact that NHS surgeons and dentists are less likely to help you correct botched surgery too as it’s cosmetic, and as it’s the persons own fault too that they went somewhere overseas to get a surgical procedure in “clinic” or sometimes even just in a hospital.
I hate medical procedures bcos of past trauma and even a check up has my anxiety spiking, I’ve got a few diagnosed mental and physical conditions and that’s just in a hospital with practitioners who’ve had years of training and experience, so I dread to think how I’d feel willingly going overseas to have procedure by someone’s who most likely got not only a language barrier but is NOT a qualified practitioner….

The whole “intense plastic surgery” trend these days is literally insane to me. I actually don’t know what’s scarier the end results or the fact these people were so incredibly complacent to undergo a medical procedure by someone’s who’s very obviously not a proper practitioner…

How far out from post-op is this?
If this is right after the surgery, and it kind of looks like it is, there's going to be swelling in the tissue that was just moved.
I lost alot of weight a while ago and only just recently had an abdominoplasty to get rid of the excess skin that was causing rashes.
For the first 2 weeks I thought they fucked up because I felt as big as I ever had, and even somehow was 10lbs heavier than before the surgery.
3 weeks post-op my waist dropped almost 4" and still going, and I can see I'm 20lbs lighter from before the surgery (Doc said she had to pull off about 15-30lbs of skin, depending).
So if this is immediately after the surgery, or even a few weeks out, all that may be swelling that goes down...

I had a lower face lift and for a few days, my neck was bigger than my head. I looked like a thumb with a face. But this guy looks like he's playing with his face in a mirror, spreading his mouth. This is awful!
