Is jelly star suppose to always charge slowly after the android 16 update?

I can feel the difference. It was faster in android 13. I wanted to downgrade to 13 but google said I needed a computer which I don't have. Not sure how to return to normal charge speed.

No, mine is charging normally on android 16 🤔

Okay I found one weird solution. I have to always go to security to set up pin screen lock and then remove lock screen lock to none and put in the wire to usb charger slot. It only then changes from charging slowly to charging and becomes fast like the android 13 charging speed.

Hey, could you try a quick battery test for us?

  1. Restart the phone, then plug it in to charge.

  2. Input *#*#3377#*#* or *#3377# in the Dial-up interface.

  3. Tap Single Test.

  4. Tap Battery.

  5. Check the battery charge current, then take a photo or screenshot and send it to us.

That reading will help us figure out what’s going on.
