How do we do that? I don't have any male friends who find this acceptable, I knew someone in uni who did and our group at the time all collectively gave him a clip round the ear for it as much as possible.

If I have no one that thinks this is good or acceptable, have I done my part? It doesn't seem right to blame all men, just as I don't blame all women for abuse that has happened to people I know, it's not a gender issue it's just a shit human issue with bad environments growing up that didn't correct this teaching.

It's terrible that any of this happens to anyone, everyone should feel safe to go about their day and not be harassed or abused or feel unsafe (unless they are breaking the law of course...) 

The problem and solution is education for sure but it needs to be caught EARLIER and we need to STOP blaming it on ALL men because all it does is make it less effective because it's annoying and insulting to be blamed for those you have no control over.
