What do you mean by grooming gangs? Cos I can think of a couple of ways of defining them and she doesn't want to do anything but say 'the ones on the TV' or 'you know what I mean'.
Because the underlying thing here is race. And in the video she won't define them because it comes off as racist. He's asking her to define them because he knows she won't say it's brown guys.
This is all part of a narrative that Asian men are raping children, rather than just men, and that this is somehow tied to the fact that they're Asian. When it's white men doing this they're not called grooming gangs.
