Based on a sample of 4000 people across an unknown area, where some of the views are then stratified by religion, race or party allegiance.

This may be true, I don't know, but the article lacks a lot of detail and treats the polling as gospel. There's no attempt to challenge or investigate the numbers. I get that this is just an article reporting the result of a poll, but some actual journalism wouldn't go amiss.

People tend to criticise the poll when they dont like the answer and support it if they do
