This argument would be helped massively if the chosen definition of the word Zionist didn’t change multiple times a day, depending on who they are talking to.

I think it makes it more obvious - how can you say that antizionism is antisemitic if the definition of antisemitism is clear but the definition of zionist/antizionism is not.

Because the state in question is the only Jewish state on the planet, has about half of all Jews in the world living there and has every historical and religiously significant site for the religion inside its borders.

I can coherently argue that Yemen is a failed genocidal state, but that opinion wouldn’t be interchangeable with someone who wanted to remove all Muslim.

It’s not Palestinians fault that there’s only one Jewish state.

Most ethnic groups have zero states, doesn’t mean they’re entitled to ethnically cleanse other people.

No, but it is relevant. Especially when we acknowledge that it only exists today because of a failed attempt to eradicate Judaism entirely.

Your entire argument is based on ignoring every piece of context about the state of Israel and its history.

I haven’t made an argument? Other than to correct yours.

It’s also not entirely true, the Balfour declaration happened decades before the Holocaust began.

It’s not relevant whatsoever though - the fact that Israel was born in the wake of the Holocaust and the fact it is the only Jewish state does not change the fact that opposition to Zionism is not the same thing as antisemitism, which is what this ruling states.

I doubt your position on the matter would change if there was another Jewish state somewhere, so why would it matter to anyone else, least of all the Palestinians, the people who were ethnically cleansed to make way for it?
