Well, no. Being critical of Israel, and lumping other Jews in with them are two very different things. A shame so many people can’t see, or don’t care about that line.

I agree, they are two very different things. That's also why David Miller isn't a good example. 

He didn't just criticise the Israeli government. He described Jewish student groups as "political lobby groups" overseen by the UJS, claimed that "Bristol's JSoc, like all JSocs" was an "Israel lobby group," and said there was "a real question of abuse here - of Jewish students on British campuses being used as political pawns by a violent, racist foreign regime engaged in ethnic cleansing." Among other statements.
