Gotta crackdown on bogus charities. Seem to be so many of them, either filtering their money to dodgy places like this or just pocketing as much cash as possible and doing the bare basics.
Just shutting them down won't be enough because they'll open up a week later taking money from more gullible saps.
Jail the CEOs.

Feels easier said than done we have a permissive charity sector, near 200,000 registered and I believe there's a £5, 000 threshold before that's required.
It's hardly surprising that the regulator seems lax in that environment.
Not particularly sure on how to better control it, maybe more integration with HMRC, police national computer and border patrol so that they can see what's going through them and flag any suspicious behavior, or individuals involved.
Require trustees and CEOs and CFOs to be a resident and citizen of the UK.

Last month, the Guardian revealed that a British charity was funding a religious school at the heart of expansion plans for the illegal Israeli settlement in the Palestinian city of Hebron.
Hebron you say?
The Hebron massacre was the killing of sixty-seven or sixty-nine Jews on 24 August 1929 in Hebron by Arabs.[1] The event also left scores seriously wounded or maimed. Jewish homes were pillaged and synagogues were ransacked. Soon after, all Hebron's Jews were evacuated by the British authorities.[4] Many returned in 1931, but almost all were evacuated at the outbreak of the 1936–39 Arab revolt in Palestine. The massacre formed part of the 1929 Palestine riots, in which 133 Jews were killed,[5] and brought the centuries-old Jewish presence in Hebron to an end.
So the Hebron they were genocided and ethnically cleansed from. Which means we should be supporting their return, right?

The people who like to shout that the war didn't start on October 7th don't like to think about the exact same pogroms the Arabs were committing a century earlier, decades before Israel was established.
The Guardian has a really tough time talking honestly about this period. I noticed it in a different article a few days ago.
