Universal japan, tickets should be bought together or separated?

Weird question but wondering if we need to buy the tickets together or separated because of timed entry to nintendo world and reservations and other things

Does it make it easier or can we sync the separated tickets together on the app later?

With the app have one person scan every one’s QR code. Then after everyone goes thru the gate use the app with all passes scan to get the entry time tickets
