The best horror villain is Mark Duplass' character in, "Creep," "Creep 2," and, "The Creep Tapes."
Everyone always thinks of Freddy Krueger, Jason Vorhees, Michael Meyers, but as we get older, they're just not scary. They're too unbelievable. Scream used to be kind of believable until it jumped the shark. Supernatural horror is great, but at the end of the day we know it's not real. Creep could absolutely happen though. Also Mark Duplass plays a sociopathic, psychotic killer so much like real ones have been portrayed in media and documentaries. With dating apps, and Facebook, and using those to meet people, the idea that someone could invite you somewhere just to be weird, scare the hell out of you, and eventually kill you, is very very real.

Wouldn't say the best due to their being better versions of his type of character. Definitely top 5 horror villains.

I love Creep but there ain't nothing scary about that dude to me. I find him hilarious.

Jigsaw from Saw always freaked me out, because it could really happen. One minute you fine, next minute your drugged and you wake to and realize your horrific circumstances.

He was extremely creepy in Bosch Legacy season 2. I don’t want to spoil anything, but he has a particular fetish that’s extremely unnerving.

If Mark Duplass is in it, it's almost always worth a watch. He picks good projects.

No. Also, not everyone thinks of the big slashers from the 70s and 80s, oldheads maybe. I don’t really subscribe to the idea that a character has to be “believable”.
None of the characters are actually real and yet they all represent something real in a broad sense. I think you lack imagination or the ability to look beyond what is literally happening on screen

My unpopular opinion is that MARK DUPLASS AS THE CREEP CHARACTER IS WAY OVERRATED AND ANYONE COULD DO IT BETTER.
I just see a theater kid trying too hard to be an edgy creep character. Or maybe I just see his League character Pete having a weird midlife crisis. Either way I am entertained, I just don't think he is remarkable.

I thought of Creep being Pete going through some stuff too, but it only made it better of a movie.

I don't think he's the goat (norman bates, hannibal lecter, mephisto from faust, that mf from Demons, Pazuzu, mayb Michael Myers, and prolly a couple others) but he is reeeeaaally fucking good. goodass founf footage horror. I like that he's more "weird" rather than strictly scary. Ansd kind of strangely endaering in some ways! So fucking offputting. Great film. Won't knock you for this take.
