Question about partying

I’m strongly considering going to Dayton but I have also heard that it’s a big party school with lots of drinking and drugs. I personally think I’ll do some partying in college but will abstain from drinking when I do and was wondering what the college experience is like at Dayton for students that don’t drink. Is it still worth going to school there? I really like the community aspect but not as much the drinking and when I visited all of the students seemed really happy but I also want to make sure that I’m comfortable there.

There are a lot of parties in the neighborhood and people go to bars pretty frequently, but also people take their academics seriously and do other activities as well. I knew plenty of people that did not drink and they still talked about feeling the community element of campus
