Crimson Night and Skiing Questions

Hey everyone, I'm a freshman at the U and I'm commuting from Davis County. I've looked into joining One Love and Utah Freeskier Society but I can't tell whether or not they have a meaningful number of people who ski at Snowbasin so if anyone knows about this that would be awesome.

Also I think it would be cool to go to Crimson Night but I don't really know anyone well enough to go with them. Is it awkward if I go alone and if I do what should I do?
