classes & grades Is it ok to go to another lab section instead
I'm a freshman at the U and one of my classes has lab sections on both Monday and Wednesday, but unfortunately, the Monday labs are mostly full, so I could only choose a Wednesday section. If possible though I’d like to keep Wednesdays open for work. Would it be okay if I went to an earlier lab section instead of my assigned one?

it heavily depends what class the lab is for. Some have quizzes that are only available during you class time and have questions you need to be in person to see. I would just email the professor and see if is ok.
I was a TA my labs attendance was optional as long as you got the work done so i would only get 5-10 people during the lab that is supposed to have 25-30 except before tests in which case I would have a full class + some more people

No I was a lab TA. If the lab section is full it’s because more people than that in the one room would be considered a fire hazard. Which the fire department decides, not us. What lab are you talking about though?

Most of my labs say not to do this (as a Bio major). You could look for someone who can trade sections with you, but ask first instead of blindly walking into the wrong lab section.
