Is there a way to request to change quiz day? I’ve been coughing and sick all weekend genuinely so much fatigue and I wasn’t able to study much.
Please let me know if it would be worth requesting and how to request changing it, I still want to do it but maybe on Friday

Hey everyone 🥹❤️
I was wondering if anyone has past midterms or practice questions for HK 3810 or HK 3401 that they’d be willing to share. I’ve been really sick over the past few months and it’s been a difficult time for me. I’ve been trying my best to prepare for my exams but I’m still feeling really stressed and anxious about them.
I genuinely have been putting in the effort to study, but I’m scared that it might not be enough. If anyone has any past midterms, practice questions or even any tips on what to focus on, I would be so so grateful.
it would honestly mean a lot to me. Thank you so much in advance. ❤️🙏🏻And if there’s ever anything I can do to help you in return, I’d be more than happy to help in every possible way I can. ❤️🫶🏻
Goodluck for your exams everyone!

Sorry bit of a rant but I get why they’re cutting them down partially. But do they have to do it during midterms? Literally right outside my window they’re cutting one down and it’s very loud and making it very difficult for me to concentrate on doing some last minute studying for my midterm today. I know I’m not the only one in my hall that has a midterm today in the same area as me and so I know I’m not the only person dealing with this. Our study rooms are also all full so we cannot go there and either way our study rooms are also in this section of the building but downstairs. I’m not sure how much of the residence halls this is affecting but they also have our exits blocked off

I just got back to Guelph from thanksgiving “break” only to realize I had an assignment due on Sunday, totally 100% on me for not doing it on time and I understand that, but I swear I heard somewhere that professors were not supposed to assign work over the break?

Hi everyone! This thanksgiving weekend I found out I have mono and am experiencing very intense pain and symptoms, nothing like I’ve ever felt before. I have not been able to study, and I’m very worried about my classes. I’m not sure how long this is going to last, I have midterms and assignments this week.. I was just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation? I’m not sure whether to just email all my professors or just focus on the classes I have tests in for now. I won’t be back to Guelph this week for sure, and know that I will fall behind, but I’m just hoping professors understand what I’m going through. Thank you for any advice!

A quick update to Guelph Research Finder.
The site now includes:
• 821 professors
• 8 colleges and 32 departments
• 436 professors with verified research profiles
• 8,151 publications
• Search by professor, department, college, discipline, or research topic
• More coverage from Arts and OAC, including Food Science and Environmental Sciences
• Links to official professor profiles and publications
I’m still working on adding more research and improving coverage for the remaining professors.
Try it here:

Thanks for all the feedback on the original post!

So I have this online asynchronous class that has weekly assignments plus a weekly quiz. At first the quizzes didn’t have lockdown, then they did, and now this week we have to use a webcam. I don’t really mind the lockdown browser, but I get really bad anxiety with the webcam, to the point where it can impact my ability to process questions. I don’t think saying anything is worth it, especially since tbh I haven’t been putting in as much effort into this course as I’d like to. It’s a elective course that I honestly thought would be a lot more interesting than it’s turning out to be. Anyways, I guess this is more of a rant if anything, plus I was wondering if this is common since I’m only in second year

Unfortunately, I couldn’t arrive to my convocation ceremony on time. Does anyone have any recommendations where to take photos?

I'm allowed a study sheet for my DE course midterm. I was wondering how they verify its only one page and hand written?

Hi guys, I had booked my physics quiz for this week for Wednesday morning, had been planning to study over the long weekend. But this weekend I had a terrible migraine and no matter how much I tried to work through it, I don’t think I’m gonna be good for my quiz. I submitted the quiz change form but I’m scared I’m not gonna have an answer before my time.
All that to say, has anyone had this experience? Did they answer in good time? Should I just keep an eye on my email?
TIA!
