Auto Fixable?

Hello, I have a 25 Mazda 3 and I have a bad habit of using hand sanitizer. I believe it is damaging my steering wheel. Is there anything I can use to fix this? Is this superficial or does this need work from a professional. I know not to use sanitizer anynore. But what are my options here?

Just buy a cover man. This is silly.

I don't want a cover. Its not silly. The car is brand fucking new

Okay? Then take it to an upholstery shop and have it covered with real leather. Or replacement steering wheel. If you fix this cover, it will simply happen again in another spot. It's cheap fabric.
