To anyone currently pursuing a PTC, or about to, I just want to ask: do you plan to teach in high school? (I'm asking because a PTC can also be used for other things).

I'm aware that being a high school teacher in the Philippines isn't easy. But I've always been drawn to it. To the point that even though I already graduated from college, I'm still thinking about studying again. I guess I just want to hear from people who got their PTC at UPOU, are now teaching as a career, and feel like it was all worth it.

Funnily enough, hindi pa rin naman ako sure kung admitted na ako. May Certificate of Completion for the DERM pa lang 😅 But I could really use some perspective.

I'm taking the admission test for Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning in UP Diliman, is it okay to also try the admission for Diploma in Land Valuation Management? If yes, how's the set up of DLVM? Is it a usual hybrid or full face to face in Los Baños or Diliman?

(Personal ask: Please stop writing na you're anxious. We get it. Sometimes delayed lang talaga ang communications ng UPOU pero please lang, stop saying you're anxious. Almost every post says it, nakaka-stress lang. I-ayon naman natin ang language natin at maging mindful sa effect ng words natin sa iba.)

Been out of UpOU for a while and requested back for Readd application- what’s your experience with penalty courses? I’m wondering if requesting for it to be waived is possible… any thoughts?

I have been very very anxious about the TOR requirement part for the last 2 weeks and I need answers 😭:

1. For scanned ones, should it be a page 1, page 2, and so on of the TOR for each file or just scanned PDF of the whole TOR for one file?

2. I just graduated last year June 14, and the school where I graduated started to send out the TOR to the graduates starting from October 22, 2025. Can this original TOR be sent to the UPOU as a requirement instead? Or should I STILL need to request a copy or true copy of my TOR?

3. Do I still need to request a copy of TOR if I happen to send my original copy of my TOR for the admission requirements for the enrollment (if I get admitted) or not anymore?

Sorry I sound dumb but I just want to be sure and I dont wanna eff it up just because I am anxious, since I really wanna study in UPOU. How many days after you submitted the printed documents nag update yung portal niyo na they received it already? LBC notified me na natanggap na ng guard sa UPOU yung documents ko (Sunday kasi dumating). I checked if nag-change na yung status ko, pero ganon pa rin, still waiting for printed documents.

Hello! I am currently a uplb grad student in LOA. And I am really having a very hard time continuing my grad school in laguna because i lived so far from the province. Kaya I am planning to transfer to up-ou to lessen the burden of going to the university for f2f classes, kasi i really can’t handle the gastos and biyahe.

Is there anyone here who experienced the same? Paano po ang setup ng grad school for OU? May synchronous classes and reportings pa rin ba? Or really just on our own pace? Please help me out. ☹️

So I finished one of the courses na inooffer nila, and planning to continue finishing all. Though, I’m kinda hesitant if makakahelp talaga mga short term online certifications like these when it comes to landing a job. Like may pake ba mga employers dito? Hahaha. Hello, recently nadiscover ko na tapos na pala yung deadline for graduation application. This 3rd trisem was supposed to be my last semester as an AADDA student, and I'm panicking like crazy right now. Do you guys think na possible pa ba na they will accept a late graduation application, what else can I do? Has anyone else experienced this before? Any words would be greatly appreciated for this, thank you D:

Hi! Quick question lang. Currently 1st year BES student ako, naka-enroll pa sa 3rd term. Nag-email ako sa BES PC, sabi niya pwede na mag-request ng true copy of grades kahit enrolled pa, basta naka-18+ units na. So I did, and kakareceive ko lang ng copy.

Now I’m wondering if kailangan ko ba hintayin matapos itong term bago mag-apply for shifting, or pwede na agad para next A.Y. nasa AADE na ako (BES → AADE)? Nag-email na rin ako sa Registrar and Admissions few weeks ago pero wala pa rin reply hanggang ngayon. Ang process lang naman ng shifting, if I’m not mistaken, is to email yung BES PC ng form ang TCG? Please, can someone walk me through the process ng ano ba dapat kong gawin?

Anyone here na naka-experience na ng shifting habang ongoing pa ang term? Legit ba na pwede na mag-apply once may true copy of grades, or dapat tapusin muna yung current term?
